I’ve had a bunch of art-related links in my bookmarks and scribbled on little pieces of paper all over my desk for a while. So when I heard about Squidoo.com, I decided to create a ‘lens’ as they call it, named Your Art Online. It’s about sharing and selling your art on the internet and has all kinds of links for sites and art challenges and related material. So stop by and check out the lens if you have a moment! Feel free to ‘rank’ the page too if the mood hits you. (I’m also open to suggestions for additional sites and links as I’m sure there are many excellent ones I’ve not added yet – feel free to leave a comment here if you know of any!)

Tomorrow is Do Something Silly Day!
John and I would like to introduce a new site/meme… the 15th of every month (that would be tomorrow) is officially Do Something Silly Day! Why the 15th? In honor of U.S. tax day – a day that needs all the light heartedness and chuckling you can give it – heh. Stop by, read the silly suggestions and stories, and we’d be tickled if you’d submit a few of your own as well, and even use one of our banners to link back to us if the spirit moves you. (And if you’re already a cafepress affiliate, you can just add your PID to the banner’s link and earn cash off sales of DSS gear at the same time. If you’re not yet a cafepress affiliate, there are instructions on the site.)
Do Something Silly is a great way to break out of your usual routine, and to laugh at yourself, and let others laugh with you. Have a little fun while you’re waiting in lines, or sitting in traffic! Do something just a little bit unexpected during the day!

Photo Friday – Organized

This is an older photo, but I’m reposting it because it fits the Photo Friday theme of “Organized” quite nicely, I believe! These are a bunch of antique wooden product boxes, all from the Hollister and Paicines (California) area. They were stacked in the barn down the road, but have since disappeared – we’re not really sure where they went! Perhaps into the dimension with the extra socks from the dryer.

Celtic Dragon Labyrinth
My latest Celtic knotwork design is not an ‘actual’ labyrinth, of course, but being surrounded on all four sides by varying degrees of Celtic knotwork would make anyone FEEL like they were in a labyrinth. Except maybe the dragon here – I think he lives in the middle quite comfortably – probably magically transports himself in and out at will. How very dragon-esque!
This design is available in my Art of FoxVox Shop on all kinds of t-shirts and tile products and cards and such, and also as unframed prints from 5″ square up to 20″ square.

Illustration Friday – Speed
This illustration took me about 2 minutes to sketch out, and it looks it, but this was what I thought of when the topic of ‘speed’ came up for Illustration Friday. Hey! ‘Speed’ describes the image AND the process – it’s a two-fer! *grin*
