Before Hurricane Irene came, John and I visited the historical Saugerties Lighthouse in Saugerties, NY. Here are just a few of the black and white photos I took while there. I will be posting color shots of the lighthouse itself in my next post, once I have them all cropped and online. For now though, just a few artsy shots:

On their website they show a photo of the flooding caused by Hurricane Irene. Just to give you an idea, the flood water would have been over the top step in my third photo, above. I wish them well with their cleanup and recovery!
