Bridgework

I love it when I have the opportunity to put a pun or double meaning in a title of a photograph or painting – I called this ‘industrial’ themed macro photograph “Bridgework”:

First because it’s actually a closeup shot of the crenelated metal seam on each side of a paved bridge that allows for contraction and expansion during weather temperature extremes. Second because this seam looks like teeth or could be like the bridgework dentists sometimes perform on gaps in teeth. *grin* I also liked the contrast between the gritty, sandy dirt and the patterning in the dark grey metal.
