I found a post on the Imagekind blog about how to make those cool ‘little planet’ photo manipulations, also called polar panorama effects, and so I had to try it out. I chose a photo I’d created a number of years ago, during a dry, hot, California summer:
Then, I trimmed it down to more of a panorama proportion, then followed the instructions to make it into it’s own ‘little planet’ and came out with this:
It came out pretty cool, I think! 🙂 I’ll have to see what other photos I have that I can use this technique on. (As usual, click the image to get a framed or unframed fine art print of the Gold World Tree image.)
