A friend of mine is hosting a weekly ‘topic’ idea for blogs – thanks, Jen! Since this week’s topic is Outer Space, I thought I’d pass along a neat tidbit – apparently, a solar wind stream hit Earth yesterday morning, sparking a geomagnetic storm, and some auroras were seen! Those are some neat photos. I wish I lived up north so I could see the auroras!!
Yeah – those photos are amazing. I wish I could see the aurora too, but at least we have a good view of the stars at night here in rural CA!
In the country out here, you can see stars all the time, but in the city it’s much easier to grab a bite to eat and visit friends – LOL – funny trade off, eh? Glad there’s still a good way we can ALL see the universe though!
