My latest creation, Celtic Butterfly. Actually, I drew this quite a while ago and had the scanned black and white image just sitting on my hard drive, not doing anything, for quite a while. I remembered it when someone on an email list I’m on mentioned their butterfly photography. I really like the shape of the butterfly itself – I remember having to draw that a few times to get the feel right. I just substituted Celtic knotwork for the wing and body patterns – heh. (It’s a rather detailed piece – might not show up too well in this small thumbnail – if you want to see a slightly larger image, go to the version in my gallery. It’s still optimized for web use though.) The shirts that bear this design have a white background, but I’m also offering an inexpensive miniprint, as well as a framed print (both are 14″x10″, print area) with a nice green background – click on the butterfly to see the variations.
