Every so often, out of the corner of my eye, I see a man walking around outside our house for a split second. He wears a light blue chambray work shirt, jeans, and a cowboy hat. He’s a ghost image of some kind, an energy imprint on this area, but I don’t know if it’s origin is in the past or the future (maybe even a parallel present – LOL). This morning I saw him again, just someone walking along outside, until I turned my head to look full-on, and of course he wasn’t there. Then a little bit later, our ‘alarm’ dog started barking at the kitchen window in his, “Someone’s here!” bark, but there was also no one around. It’s not spooky really – my impression is that it’s just someone who really loves the land where we are. It might be a school teacher who our landlord says taught in our (now) converted schoolhouse in the 50’s – work shirts, jeans, and cowboy hats haven’t changed all much since then. Maybe today’s just a ‘thin time’ kind of day – if time keeps everything from happening all at once, there must be thin spots here and there. Sounds a bit sensational and yet reasonable too.
