Emergence Abstract Acrylic Painting

I finished this 12″x12″ abstract acrylic painting a few months ago while I was going through my ‘yellow-gold’ phase (apparently – LOL).

I had fun playing with the textures in this piece, as you can hopefully tell. The brighter white-yellow light seemed to be emerging from hiding, thus the title!

Street Weaver Abstract Acrylic Painting

This is a little 14″x11″ abstract acrylic painting I painted (a few months ago? eeek!), which I called “Street Weaver”:

There are multiple layers of paint that were laid on against masking tape straight edges and then scrubbed a bit to look somewhat weathered/textured and possibly almost somewhat sort of semi-transparent. (I wanted to see how many qualifiers I could fit before ‘transparent’ – hah!)

October Tree And Natural/Artificial Stone Walls

A few more f..f..fall f..f..fotos! First one is called “October Tree” for obvious reasons – heh:

The next one I called “Natural and Artificial”, thought about how odd it was to see a man-made stone wall sitting just a few yards in front of a natural stone cliff:

And stay tuned for more photos – just took a batch this morning in the early morning steamy fog we had. (Thanks to the dog for waking me up in time to see it – LOL.)

Harvest Moon and Early Fall Photos

This has been one of the most insanely busy Octobers I can recall, and I have a backlog of art and photos to share here as a result. So I’ll start out with two photos I took LAST month. *grin*

First, ‘Early Fall’…

Then, ‘Harvest Moon’ – this is a bit of a photomanipulation to make the image more accurately resemble what I saw with my naked eye. Not TOO much of a manipulation, but a tweak…

By the way, if your screen is dark or has lower contrast you may only see the orange moon and not the silhouette of dark branches that are framing it.

Thanks for looking!
