Death Symmetry

Yes, I know – it’s a dead bug, technically. But artistically, it’s a wasp that died and left its body with legs/arms folded in a classic death symmetry. Even the antennae are still curled and symmetrical. And I just thought it was interesting – not something I usually look at too closely!

One Response to Death Symmetry

Dead wasps are not something I usually look at very closely either but this is really lovely! I can see why it caught your attention. Thanks so much for sharing! It gives new meaning to the words “dead bug”. I never once thought about how a wasp could ever be attractive … but it can be … dead 🙂
