Through the Leaves

I was in a green mood the other day, wanted to paint lots of greens, or at least say the word a lot – you can’t say ‘green’ without feeling springy. (Egad, now I’m thinking about Ruby Rod saying, ‘Super Green’ in Fifth Element – I need help.) Electric greens seem especially lush when painting, even in watercolors, and it’s fun to add bright yellows to greens and see how much like toxic waste you can get them! *grin* Anyway, here’s the result of my ‘easy being green’ experience the other day:

As usual, I have this available in various forms and venues… Click here to see this design on t-shirts, cards, journals, etc. You can also get unframed prints in 4″x5″, 8″x10″, and 9″x12″ sizes from my DeviantArt Print Shop.

Way cool. This makes me want to make up some sort of story about what animal or person is IN there. I like the gentle use of greens here too. Wish I had the knack you do for watercolors…
