The hills around here all host at least one lone tree growing at an odd angle. Doesn’t matter which way you look, as long as its up. *grin* Here’s my watercolor attempt at capturing the feel of this classic lone tree:
This was also the first time I used my new hot press watercolor paper, which is smoother than the more classic and textured cold press. So far I like it – the paint moves around a little bit more on its own, so tends to add a bit more of an uncontrollable element to things. Anyway, click here for tshirts, cards, magnets and such.
