Autumn Wind Watercolor Painting

“Autumn Wind” Watercolor – the textured swirls/background are done with salt dropped into the wet paint. I’ve always loved this effect and wanted to see where it would go. It’s interesting to see how the different paints and levels of water react to the salt differently. The composition came out a bit ‘flatter’ in feel than what I was picturing, but I’m sure this won’t be the last piece of leaf art I do, since I have a ‘thing’ for leaves – heh.
