Our friend Tom visited for a few days again. While he was here, he built a new dam in the stream. As he was hurling rocks (40-60 pound boulders, more like it) in the water, I managed to catch a few in mid-splash. The other shot is of the spillway, to prevent the water from building up too much and breaking the wall.

And now, the weather report and the cloudy skies say that we’re going to be getting a lot of rain in the next few days, so it will be interesting to see how the rising river and the dam, er, ‘interact’.
