Rings of Saturn. I give John credit for staying out in the freezing cold tonight, but he was finally able to zero in on Saturn with his telescope! He let me look too, and we could actually see the rings and everything! It was really small, but you could definitely tell it was Saturn – how cool is that? (star map) Last night, with a set of binoculars, I was able to spot the comet that was near the Pleiades – looked like a fuzzy greenish star. But seeing Saturn so clearly – it’s kind of hard to believe it was the real thing instead of just a picture somewhere, you know? *grin*
