After the floor shaking and the windows rattling woke us up at about 2:15 a.m., and then again a few minutes later, I got up to check the earthquake page. The first one had been a 3.9 and the second one was a 3.4. This morning I checked again and, since we went to sleep last night, there have been 15 earthquakes in total in the same spot as that 4.0 from Sunday. Most are between 1.0 and 3.0 with the exceptions above. This means there’s quite a bit of activity along our little fault line here – we haven’t had an earthquake that we’ve FELT in a long time and then all of this happens. Well, I’d rather have a bunch of little ones to release the tectonic plate pressures than one big one!
