John and I each received a wonderful after-holiday gift today. We’d gone to fetch Tom to go out to lunch. Before we left Tom’s house, he told us there was something for us up on the landing, and then he casually mentioned something about how wrapping them would have been a bit too difficult. We went up the stairs and approached the landing with some caution…. then we spotted the little cage with the bright red hamster wheel inside. Upon closer inspection, we saw two of the cutest mice among the shredded paper in the base of the cage. They were both a light beige color, about palm-sized, and the best part? They both had scroll wheels! *grin* Thanks, Tom for the really perfect gifts and the best delivery ever!
