The bee boxes are back! Every spring groupings of white boxes show up in various cow pastures along the road – the bee guy apparently trades small spots of real estate with the local ranchers for jars of honey. (Last year our landlord dropped by with a mayonaisse-size jar of sage honey – mmmmm!) With the return of the boxes we also, of course, have the return of the buzzing. Step out into the yard and the tree tops and the sage on the hillsides are all buzzing like crazy. (Natural background ‘white noise’ to drive the humans slowly insane – clever plan, but I’m onto them! Oh, yes…. *grin*)
