Tom and I were outside with the dogs and just about to go for a walk. And Tom was just about to comment that with the amazing wind we were experiencing, maybe we’d have more logs to chainsaw if the wind knocked any trees over. However, he didn’t get a CHANCE to say it, as this echoing cracking sound distracted us. We turned around and watched as branches of this 30 ft. Live Oak tree hit the tree next to it as it tipped over. The branches swayed and shook, some fell to the ground in great rustling heaps. We just looked at each other and thought how cool it was that we both just HAPPENED to be outside at JUST the right time to witness it.
