Just came back from an evening with Onions! Learned all about ’em, including how to make Caramelized Onion Pizza, Onion Rings, Baked Sweet Vidalia Onions, Onion Salad, and Brie with Just Dried Onions. The Onion Rings were a lovely surprise in their simplicity – battered with a flour and beer mixture and deep fried – deliciously light and sweet and flavorful. Tomorrow…..Italian Cheese Appreciation and Wine Tasting – Woo Hoo! (It’s good to have a gourmet cook shop nearby with an owner who loves to cook – she even has her own tv show!)
