Jiffy baking mix, flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa, eggs, milk, oil, vanilla, and unsweetened chocolate – all thrown together in a bowl in unmeasured amounts until the consistency of cake batter and then tossed in a greased pan and then into the oven. I don’t know how it will come out, as it’s my first foray into the ‘homemade cake without a recipe’ neighborhood, but I’m hopeful. After all – the batter LOOKED like the other cakes I’ve made – even the mix-based ones, which is a good enough rationalization for me! *grin*
And now… for the frosting… anyone else scared? 😉
