Reading the various opinions people present about all this Enron stuff has been fascinating – mostly because either people are really pointing fingers at Bush and company or they are pointing to the fact that all politicians, whether Republican or Democrat do these kinds of wheelings and dealings. What’s interesting is that most people’s posts on this subject seem too weary to even bother suggesting that there might actually be better ways for government officials to act. Or maybe they feel too weary to change anything that seems so BIG and so OFF all at once? Anyway – I’ll take up the slack and say it – “There’s certainly a better way. And it’s certainly possible. How about a goverment built on integrity and simplicity!” Stop laughing, I’m serious! *grin*
