The war on terrorism could be likened, they said, to the war on drugs or poverty, and the best way to undermine and eventually dismantle the terrorist structures around the world was to use the method of “hearts and minds” — encouraging foreign governments and people to join in the “war” so that terrorists would be isolated and identified. … because the War on Drugs has been so effective? Oh, just forget it. Let’s talk about something else.

John and I are heading to the coast today – probably down to the Monterey Bay area – time to touch the ocean again. I probably won’t take as many photos as I have in the past because I already have a BUNCH of ‘ocean’ photos – LOL – but I’ll take the camera anyway. Ahhhh, cool breezes and misty shorelines, here we come! 😉
