I had the opportunity yesterday to stand up for myself with our car insurance company to straighten out an error they had made. They admitted to the error, paid what they owed us, including the overdraft fees we were getting because of their error. Earlier in the day, I had ordered cheese on a burger and did NOT get the cheese, but had done nothing about it, figuring that it was only some pocket change and I was already a ways through the burger. Seems like if I didn’t use THAT opportunity to stand up for myself that I was going to get another chance that I just COULDN’T avoid – LOL.
