I wasn’t aware that General Motors was working on HEV SUVs, that is, SUVs that are also hybrid electric vehicles (gas and electricity), like the Honda Insight and the Toyota Prius. Incidentally, did you know that the Toyota Prius gets better mileage around town than it does on highways because it uses the car’s braking action to recharge its batteries? Very clever.
