Artists take what IS and add a piece of themselves to it. That’s why artists have never been good at doing tasks by rote. They must find their OWN way to do or express something, even the most mundane of things, like washing dishes, or walking. Even in small ways, artists make something NEW out of what IS – they are intimately connected with the unmanifest in this way – never tell them that imagination is not real, for they know better.

… We are ALL artists – sometimes we just don’t realize it right away.
