You know that television commercial for Simmons mattresses that show them dropping a bowling ball on the bed to show how wonderfully the independent coil (motion separation) system works? Well – that’s our new bed, and from the jumping tests we did in the showroom (luckily there was no one else around to tell us to act our age – even the salesman was on crutches and in the back room instead – LOL) it’s TRUE! There IS a difference! heh heh. YES!

I just changed the archives for this blog (bottom of left column) from that little javascript drop down menu to an archive index page that Blogger automatically updates. The scrolling drop down menu was cute, but I had to update it manually, and I wasn’t always as timely as I would have liked. So there you go.

Did you know… that a group of foxes is called a skulk? (Egad – so many ‘family reunion’ jokes come to mind, I can’t even THINK!) *grin*

Cool Shockwave game – you can assemble your own racetrack and then race! Like those old slotted car thingies we had as kids. I actually had one that was SNOWMOBILES racing on a white track – there was even a squiggly part where it was supposed to be “icey”. Ahhh, good times. *grin*

Hey tom – glad your grandmother is doing well, and that you’re enjoying the weather on the east coast! 🙂 Back in CA, it’s been rather cool and semi-overcast here a LOT this spring, which has been REALLY nice. BTW, it seems like you’ve been gone forever – has it been more than 6 weeks yet? LOL. John’s onions are sprouting all over the place and he got a weedwacker, which is really good for taking out prickly thistle bushes around here, although we’re leaving some around the edges of the other pasture so we can enjoy the height they grow to, and the amazing purple original star-trek-ish flowers.
