In the morning, we often hear birds scraping along the tin roof overlay on the kitchen extension of the house. This morning, we heard the usual scraping, then a frantic scrabbling of many feet/claws, then a lot of squawking. We ran out of the house to see what was going on, but by the time we got outside, there were no birds around. Just a few tufts of feathers floating in the mild morning breeze.
