How to describe this - it's like... when you're used to receiving water a cup at a time, you have time to examine it, get to know it, and 'define' it before you drink it. When you're connected up directly to the hose, you have to be standing in a sense of trust of that flow, because it's just COMING. Sure, you can slow it down to a slow drip again, but that's not REALLY the point, the point is expansion. The point is that you really CAN handle the flow of the hose. You don't have time to examine and DEFINE it in each moment like you used to, but you also don't feel the NEED to either. Yeah - that's what's happening with me right now. :-)

Oh, and naturally I put JUST ONE MORE poster up in the gallery - it's a macro shot of a bolt with worn paint and rust marks on it - very... photographical. *grin*

Added two new photographs and photographic prints of two actual paintings of mine to my poster gallery. Lots of bright colors - lots of orange for some reason. *grin* Addendum - okay - FIVE total - had to add a pastel rose to the gallery as well - how... traditional... something someone can hang in their bathroom - ROFL.

sky linesIt's funny when you experience certain places rarely, and when the experiences are many years apart, and how oddly unchanged things can be. I hadn't been in this particular building for about 3+ years, but it looked just the same - and this time I had a camera with me. They even had the same wobbly picnic table in the same position that made the afternoon sun glare right in your face... good times. Heh.

Finally found a use for this old can of peaches that's been sitting in the back of our shelves for a LONG time - puree it, make it into muffins. And then bread, when the muffin tins are full. It's a good thing we only had one can or we'd be eating peach pancakes and peach streudel and peach...... :-)

We've been experimenting a lot with bread-like recipes here lately. There's NOTHING like the smell of baking bread, and it's a lot easier to make than the whole 'home baked bread mystique' would make it seem - LOL! We made white bread and oatmeal scones, both recipes (adapted from those we found on the internet) are now online in the food section. I also added our banana bread recipe - we haven't made it lately, but I hadn't yet put it online for some reason, so I threw that one in too.
