I love roses. I'm going to have tons of rose bushes of all different colors along the borders of my property. And I really love how these roses are just oozing over this rustic fence - that's how rose gardens are SUPPOSED to look - LOL. All crazy and blooming and color blazing. (I'm also going to have lots of berry bushes and grapevines as well, but that's another post, I think.)

Bugs, birds, butterflies, bees, and bits of pollen, that's what the air is full of. And caterpillars are dropping from the Live Oak trees here like acorns - if you pause you can hear the small sound they make when they hit the bed of crunchy leaves underneath. Some have landed or crawled up our fences and house - maybe I'll try for a photo - caterpillars don't move TOO fast - LOL.

I'd like to make some kind of joke about how when you don't oil them regularly even COWS get rusty. Okay, there, I did it. *grin* Since I haven't had any cow photos or stories up here in a LONG time (and what's a blog without COW stories, eh?), I took a couple shots of the locals. It helped that we had to drive right through them to get to our house yesterday - LOL - funny - they don't move if you honk, but roll down the window and yell, "Excuse Me! Coming Through!" and THEN they move - heh. (See if you can spot the 'hidden cow face' in the left photo.)

Never thought a laundromat could look so artsy - LOL. I always love shots criss-crossed with lines and shadows and light - makes anything look cool. :-) Speaking of looking cool, check out tom's gallery of digital microscope shots!

The thing I like best about this photo is the way the water seems frozen in time and in various shapes of waterness. When I have a more complex camera I'll get to play with speeds and get even more crisp shots and even more 'smooth' shots. Water - is there anything it CAN'T do? (That was rhetorical.)
