Was going for a dark and mysterious look with this photograph taken in Monterey, CA. Of course, whenever I look at a photo like this, with the sun setting over the Pacific and a bunch of rock formations in the foreground, I only end up thinking of the final scenes of the movie Goonies - LOL. Which suits me just fine, of course. :-)

Caught this little guy 'on smartmedia' (doesn't sound quite as good as 'on film', does it) the same day we saw the garter snake (see the strawberry post a few days ago.) There were two little lizards that had gotten trapped inside a plastic recycling bin we'd left outside - the sides were too slippery to get out. I took a few shots of them in the bin, then we tipped it over. One ran up John's arm - LOL - but I couldn't get a good shot of that. The one in the photo here seemed to pause just to pose - maybe it was a thank you for releasing them. (No one tell them that we're the ones that left it out there in the first place or the debt may not be officially 'paid' anymore - ROFL).

Along our country road, on our way into town today we saw two Corbin Motors Merlin Roadsters - one red and one black - and did they look COOL! There were also two other vehicles with them, and a guy standing in the middle of the road (who we 'almost' hit - LOL) with a camera, catching shots of the roadsters in action. (Corbin Motors is located in Hollister... uh.. 'town' - heh heh.) If you want a vehicle that turns heads - get one of these! It's also got a HARLEY DAVIDSON engine - it's not one of the electric Sparrow IIs (which are cool for OTHER reasons, of course.) Anyway, it almost made us turn around for another look. *grin*

Today's definitely a day for spinning daisies. *grin* It's also a good day for putting together pieces of a metaphysical puzzle - you know when some concept starts to zoom into focus and suddenly everything fits together in a certain way and your eyes just keep opening wider and wider? Well, that's not what's happening to me, what's happening to me is.... *grin* Okay, that IS what's happening. It's also one of those things that you know in concept and then you see that it does work and is already in operation and how to make USE of it and ALL of that. :-)

It's funny for April First, but oh, the whiteness; it burns my eyes! ;-)

Mmmm... strawberries the size of ping pong balls - red sweetness and sloppy juice down the chin, with a satisfying little crunch/pop for each seed. The first time I saw a garter snake I was picking strawberries with my mom, for her famous strawberry jelly, in a "U-Pick" field. It startled me and then wriggled away - mom smiled and told me it was one of the 'good' snakes. Today, the multidimensional, holographic nature of the universe let me experience strawberries in the morning, calling mom around noon, and a garter snake in the garden in the afternoon.
