It's 8:30 a.m., it's dark, it's windy, it's raining AND our internet connection is working - LOL - life is good. ;-) Oh, AND John's going to make some OMELETS! Mmmm! Seems like a good day to work on a little html and relax to the sound of waves of rain sheeting against the roof. Oh, and maybe a fire in the wood burning stove too - yeah, gotta have that.

I just downloaded the new version of Pegasus Mail, v4.0 and all seems to be working terrifically. There are many cool things about Pegasus - first of all it's FREE, it's only a 3.8 Mb download, it does NOT automatically run any .exe files or scripts, and now it even has a message preview mode just like Outlook or Eudora. We've been using Pegasus for about 4 years now and have really loved it, and with this new release we might even be getting around an old memory problem we had where reading a lot of email would eat system resources and not give them back because of a glitch with our HP Printer Driver. And it's fast, especially on an older computer, where you notice more. That's my product endorsement for the day - thank you for your support. *grin*

Updates have been a little intermittant lately, but that happens every so often. And tomorrow being Thanksgiving, we're doing a bit-o-cleaning around the house - having a 'nonlocal' over for dinner too - LOL. The first Thanksgiving we had Merlin, he was a puppy. After dinner, we left the leftovers on the table and went into the other room to relax. However, the temptation of a turkey carcass just sitting there was apparently too much for Merlin, and we were watching a movie when we heard this 'thud' sound out. We ran into the kitchen - Merlin looked as surprised as we did at having succeeded in his mission - *grin* - too surprised not to just wag his tail and let us pick it up off the floor - too funny. He's learned to wait his turn now, but we still keep an eye on his when there's a turkey carcass around - just in case. ;-)

Saw Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone today. First of all, I KNEW we were going to see a trailer for the Lord of the Rings, and OHMYGOD.... that's all I can say. Pretty much that's all I can say right now about the movie itself. That and WOW. It certainly didn't disappoint and I'm sure I'll be going to see it again in another week. And I can't wait until the Rings movie comes out - EPIC! Grandeur! (These two movies along are the best excuse I've ever seen for getting a large screen tv, a DVD player (anticipating the release, of course), and surround sound. *grin*) And here's a terrific review that sums things up with style. (Thanks for the link, Leaky Cauldron!)

Geez - I feel like I've been doing twelve things at once all day and yet I'm not sure what I've been doing - LOL! The good news is that we're going to see Harry Potter tomorrow, and then my life will be complete. Until December when Fellowship of the Rings will be out. Then my life will be complete. ("All I need is this ashtray. And this lamp. That's all I need...." - The Jerk)
I practically forgot that this Thursday is Thanksgiving - good thing John refuses to miss an opportunity for a drumstick! Just to be funny, when I went to the store the other day, I bought a can of cranberry sauce so we could "forget" to buy it when we went to the store for our Thanksgiving Day food supplies. (I crack me up.) And to top it all off, it's supposed to rain tomorrow - woo hoo! :-)
