Disgusting description ahead - proceed at your own risk.

Okay, the air's been rather dry and a lot of pollen's been floating around this spring. As a result, in the morning my nose is all dry and crusty (hey, you were warned! LOL) and bleh. A nice rainy day would help to wash away the pollen, so I'm voting for that.

We took a vanload of recyclables to the recycling plant yesterday - even found a place for old magazines and such, and a huge load to the dump. We cleaned off our entire porch and even stuff in this little shed too. The house is MUCH happier right now and so are we. :-) We may not have CONSICOUSLY willed the rental van into our existence, but luckily ourselves DO know what they are doing on those other levels of consciousness too - heh heh.

Recently, officials closed down a local illegal puppy mill and rescued 147 dogs living in atrocious conditions. The public response has been amazing, and I just wanted to get the word out, in case anyone reading this would like to help in some way.... Most of the dog can't be adopted as of now, but the Animal Shelter would definitely appreciate more donations of money, food, blankets, etc. To reach Second Chance Animal Rescue, call (831) 623-2337. You can reach Hollister Animal Control at (831) 636-4320. Mail checks to the City of Hollister, 375 Fifth Street, Hollister, CA, 95023. We got our dog Merlin from the Hollister Animal Shelter (years ago) when he was a puppy, and he's part Queensland Heeler, one of the breeds they rescued.

Well, today we went to pick up the rental car to use while the Honda's getting repaired. We were scheduled to pick up a Ford Escort sized car, but they didn't have any left, so they gave us a free upgrade to a MINIVAN! It's rather cool looking, as far as minivans go - a silver Dodge Ram with a rather stylish looking front end. It even tells you what direction you're pointing! A great plus about this is that we can use the minivan to do a massive recycling and dump run. The Honda Civic is a great little car, but there are some things that just WON'T fit in it - LOL. AND the BEST thing is that we were still getting FM radio reception when we got to our front door! And yes, this is unusual - completely unheard of actually. Most stations, in the Honda, have faded out before we even get to the top of our road, twelve miles away. Woo Hoo! {doing the dance of joy}

I was looking up some information for a friend (no, really! *grin*) and ran across this page at the Art Bell web site. It's a bunch of drawings of what they call "shadow people" but what we have just been calling "black things". The people on the site seem a tad more negative about their experiences on the whole, but mostly I tend to think of the beings or black things as "neutral". Anyway, the drawings are pretty interesting - but don't go if you think the drawings might freak you out. ;-)

The magic word today is SPACE, namely, space to be fully ME. This translates into imaginings of having huge amounts of space in the house, on the desk, on the computer, in the area... etc., and how that FEELS. What's interesting is that we've recently switched this domain to servers that offer us five times more space than we had (we had filled our last space allotment and were spilling over, in fact.) And many times it seems that when we put energy into creating something for the web, it's kind of a framework for creating a similar thing (in feel) in physical reality. Ahhhh, SPACE! :-)

There's a beekeeper who keeps box hives of bees at a few locations along our country road (in exchange, he gives the ranchers who own the land honey.) In the spring, on sunny mornings when you go outside, there's a omnipresent BUZZING that makes you think you must be hearing things. Luckily, the bees are MOSTLY concentrated in the tops of the live oak trees, so we're not bothered much by them. But it IS a bit disconcerting - I keep looking around for a 'sound quality' knob I can adjust or whacking and shaking my head. LOL.

If you haven't seen any Wallace and Gromit, you really oughta. Next time you pop into Target, look for "The Incredible Adventures of Wallace and Gromit" on video. Claymation, subtle British humor, crazy inventions, cheese, and sheep. What more could you want? *grin*

Whew! Been busy... finally got the next 8 articles done for the Conscious Creation Journal, the domain all set on its new server, and I helped John with tweaking his html pages so that his new site, Mind Altering Fiction could get up and running. Am a bit html-d out at the moment, but distinctly satisfied. :-)
