To the "Lisa Simpson reading a sign in Australia, "I know those words, but that sign doesn't make any sense" " category, I offer this headline: Finns Cold-Shoulder Transsexual Sauna Companion - click on the link to find out what's going on - LOL.

Did you know that once a network solutions registered domain expires, it takes at LEAST a month (if not longer) for them to purge it from the systems? In any case, I'm glad we're not using them for anything anymore.

You know those chocolate oranges? Well, I'm having one of the rasberry flavored ones (that, nonetheless, is still in the shape of an orange and orange slices - LOL) - it's VERY raspberry - the succulent odor wafts everywhere once you open the foil.

I thought I saw carrots sprouting in the garden where we planted them. But then I saw weeds elsewhere in the yard that looked suspiciously the same. Will have to wait a while to find out what's what. Gardens are not for the impatient types.

Well, one good thing that has come from dealing with the insurance guy that flunked out of 'reflective listening' class is this - I've noticed that I've become much more aware of when I'm feeling that something's not right. I had previously learned to just swallow and ignore this feeling in order to fit into society, but now it's coming back! :-) And I'm much more aware in each moment how I really AM feeling, and making that a priority, instead of trying to feel what I'm SUPPOSED to be feeling, whatever that is. My true feelings are an excellent flag for when my intuition needs to get my attention.

Damn! I guess I can cross exploding cows off my itinerary next time I'm in the Alps. Alas! *grin*

I've spent the day talking to the insurance company, and putting together the next eight or so articles for the Conscious Creation Journal (they're not up yet - still waiting some input from authors). And yesterday was spent getting the domain working on the new server. I haven't been participating at all on email lists lately, even our own. I feel like there's all of this energy moving and I just have to pay close attention as it goes by and do what's in front of me.

I think the biggest thing with the insurance company (small auto breakage, nothing major) is that it was SO simple before (with the "civic" meets "cow" incident) and the process seems to have gotten really clunky now. And that the guy who's handling our claim seems to know HIS job okay, but can't seem to be able to listen well and communicate with US about what questions WE have. When we said that his first suggestion for their auto-place was too far away he just said then find a local one. We told him we'd dealt with a great place up in San Jose, but I never really did find out whether or not they're still doing business with them or not. The insurance guy seems to have "shuffling us on out as quickly as possible" as being his job that he doesn't take care of us as people with questions that he doesn't have or might not even think of. And I really hate it when people get off the phone with you before you can even say, "Oh, wait..." That's just NOT good customer service. Trouble is, our insurance company is usually very good - it's just this ONE guy we're dealing with. Luckily, my sister happens to work for this same company *grin* (different location though) so she's also checking into it for us.

This is getting long, but it seems important. It's like this - you can tell when some situation doesn't feel 'harmonious' - there are pieces that haven't been considered or checked out - and their job should be to be our company liaisons - THAT should be their priority. I can tell when *I* am not considered a company representative's priority, and that's unacceptable.

Mornin'... low clouds are misting up the surrounding hills this morning! :-) And for some reason I STILL cannot get my archives to work. I keep getting 'no such file or directory' errors when I try to republish them. So, sorry this is short, but I gotta get back to workin' on them - I'm obsessed. *grin* (PLEASE let it be something really simple - I mean, this BLOG publishes fine, it's just the archives... pleasepleaseplease.... LOL)

Addendum - I figured it out - it was simple... I had put a slash in FRONT of the subdirectory and it didn't need one. All's well that end's well!

Ohhhh-kay. PART of the file transfer seems to have gone well, but the archive list seems to be down for the moment - sorry! Will get that back up and working as soon as possible - I guess you'll just have to stay in the NOW moment until I do that. Oh, I'm just SO funny.

I probably shouldn't be playing with all the files and stuff while everything's in the middle of being changed. Right now, depending on which account I send email from, it either goes to the new hosting service or the old one. Maybe I'll just let it all settle down and forget about it until the morning - heh heh.

Ever since tom told me last year that Williams had stopped making pinball machines and that they had been the ONLY manufacturer, I'd been kinda bummed. But now, the makers of Berzerk (remember that video game?) have gone pinball - check out Stern Pinball - the World's One and Only Manufacturer of Pinball Machines. I knew we couldn't be pinball-less for long - the world's just not right without pinball. *grin* (link via Memepool)

Why are the words "betrothal" and "brothel" so damn similar?

If you have trouble accessing this weblog or the consciouscreation.com domain in the next few days, that's because we're switching hosting services around. :-) I might also change around the names of the archives, but that probably won't affect you unless you've saved bookmarks to them for god only knows why - LOL.

In the field between us and the river, which is owned by another rancher - not our landlord, there was a picnic today. Three pickups, an SUV, a sedan, and an RV were parked there. People pulled out coolers and lawn chairs - there were dogs and kids running around. Once again, I couldn't let OUR dogs out because all they'd do is bark at THEM and I didn't really feel like interrupting the family gathering. I spied on them through the venetian blinds though - they had an Easter Egg hunt (hunting for eggs in a field full of cow plops should have made for interesting work), kicked a soccer ball around, and even played HORSESHOES. Every ten minutes, Merlin heard a noise and jumped up and ran around barking - driving me NUTS. So I closed all the windows and turned on a couple of fans for white noise. After most of them had left (just a few moments ago) we went outside finally. Our brave dogs spent 15 minutes barking at the two LAWN CHAIRS that were still sitting out there. I feel SO safe with them around. *rolling eyes*

I scooted a bunny out of the yard this morning so the dogs wouldn't chase it. However, I am NOT going to run around collecting the little roundish things it left behind - I'm extremely sure they aren't Easter Eggs. *grin*
