Tulips and Pearls
Or, an alternate title might be 'Kristen dabbles in colored pencil and realism' - but that's not as catchy. I do love surreal, abstract, and geometrical compositions but sometimes I break it up with some attempts at realism. I went for the 'formal still life' feel with this one, which seems to have worked reasonably well.

One thing I had a lot of fun with is that I used a creamy beige/peach colored piece of charcoal paper for the base, which allowed me to finally play with my white colored pencil for the pearls! (Mom always said I was easily amused.)
The image above shows the print with a nice frame, but both framed and unframed prints are available - click here for more information.
If you'd prefer this image on something smaller, like a greeting card, or a rectangular magnet for a refrigerator art gallery, or even a t-shirt, I have those too - click here to check out gifty type things with 'Tulips and Pearls'.
As always, thanks for looking!
