Sometimes you have to get conscious of what's really important to you. You can have all of these ideas swimming around in your head, but until you connect them with your own desires and motivations, they're just ideas. Me, personally, I often have lots of ideas and I will KNOW that I want to do them, but then I have to ask myself, "Why?" And I can't just settle for mental 'explanations', as good or reasonable or plausible as they may be. I have to look at why doing or having something will really fulfill me. That's a really intuitive or gut-feeling level thing.
