Too often I get distracted by what I perceive as other people's expectations of me. It doesn't matter if they are really expecting something or not - if I think they are... well, it's one of those places I have tended to go unconscious about. Most of the time, I'd just get into a bad mood and try to proceed with what I believe is being expected of me instead of waking up and saying, "Screw it!" But I promise myself to NOTICE next time I start down that path and to STOP. It's not my business to be trying to figure out what other people want me to do - it's my job to figure out what *I* want to do next. So there. :-)
