A little dusty brown calf just hopped the barbed wire fence and wandered down into our 'driveway' and the dogs went nuts. I chained up our gate so the calf wouldn't come into our yard, OPENED the other gate so he could get out, and then got closer so we could have a chat. I said, "I assume that you're on your way out and are going to use the gate over there, right?" *grin* And that little calf looked at me, NODDED up and down a few times, and then started walking towards the open gate! He stopped to eat a little grass on his way, but was out the gate in only a few minutes. That was cool!
