I have spent much of the morning in deep conversation on one of the email lists I'm on. We're all trying to understand the concept of 'resistance' and 'pushing against' and how 'what you resist persists' and how to RELEASE the resistance. There's nothing quite so amazing to me as figuring out HOW my energy's been locked on some kind of belief or emotional pattern, and then stepping out of it - feels like you can stretch your wings as if for the first time. The tricky part is recognizing the FEELING of resistance, particularly when it's something you may have felt your entire life and it feels so NORMAL you don't even really SEE it. It's like suddenly becoming aware of the wallpaper on the walls in the house you grew up in.
Consciousness and awareness - what an excellent mystery to play with. *grin*
